Aliyah Shipman is the Executive Director of Programs at Youth Club of America and a celebrated Haitian taekwondo athlete known for her exceptional achievements on the international stage. Her journey in elite sports reflects dedication, resilience, and a commitment to excellence—qualities she brings directly into her leadership role at YCA.
Aliyah qualified for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics after winning the 2020 Pan American Taekwondo Olympic Qualification Tournament in the -67 kg division. Her accomplishment marked a historic milestone for Haiti. She has since continued to excel, earning bronze medals at the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile, and the 2023 Central American and Caribbean Games. Aliyah also represented Haiti at the Mexico 2022 World Taekwondo Championships (-73 kg, Top 32) and the Baku 2023 World Taekwondo Championships (+73 kg, Top 16).

Mohamed Ali Melghagh is a master personal trainer, martial arts expert, and respected taekwondo coach with more than 16 years of experience. A former Olympic team athlete for Morocco and head coach for the Haiti Olympic Taekwondo Team, he has trained competitors for global championships and produced multiple world-class athletes.
He is the owner of I-Fight Mohamed Ali’s Martial Arts & Fitness Center and has served as a technical director, personal trainer, and head coach across international federations. His background includes leading Olympic athletes, coaching at major world tournaments, and earning recognition as Best Coach of the Year in New York City.
